The Glasscock home is definitely not like a Currier and Ives painting considering the destructive capabilities of two 2 1/2 yr olds. We put up a tree, pulled out the nativity scene & added some reindeer to the front yard. John & Kathryn are enjoying putting up the ornaments and taking them down. Olive 'the other reindeer' is our tree topper again for 2007. If you don't know about Olive, have a peek.
A Christmas tree just wouldn't be a tree without one very special Dallas Cowboys ornament (and Kevin's favorite). With their current winning season we'll be celebrating this team long after the holiday season has ended. Super Bowl 42 - perhaps!
The next few weeks are packed with events. It kicks off with the Christmas Show at John & Kathryn's Nursery School. Then mom & dad (no kids) are going to see Spamalot at the National Theatre. Lots of Christmas parties at Georgetown and McDonald's. More Christmas parties with friends and family. My college roommate and good friend, Dee, will be in town to see her family. Which means the second annual indoor pool party at the Bender's. Christmas Eve at our house. Christmas Day at the Busardo's.
This weekend is gift wrapping and a cookie party exchange. I'm glad that work is quiet for me or I would never get any sleep! Please enjoy some more pictures of the twins decorating the tree. The Glasscock Family wish everyone who visits this blog a very Merry Christmas!
