Why we love the bath.

About three months ago, John decided he hated to have a bath. Not just hated, but was petrified. I could run the kitchen sink and he would dash for the farthest corner in the house. When I had to wash him, the outcome was disastrous. The screaming was mind numbing. Then he had an epiphany about five days -- bath time is fun! Now he's asking for a 'bubble bath' at least three times day. When I arrived home on Thursday, Esther our Nanny, told me she bathed them twice that day.

We were lucky to have Kevin home today. After an ice cream treat, the twins ran upstairs demanding a bath. They spent over an hour splashing. The screams from the bath weren't out of terror, but from enjoyment. I was able to capture some photos of them in the bath and post-bath pj playtime.

On another note -- I'd like to finally scream 'HALLELUJAH' from the hills. Kathryn has self-potty trained. Without an provocation, she walked up to the Baby Bjorn potty seat, lifted up her dress and did her business. She hasn't worn a diaper, except for sleeping, in four days! John isn't interested, but he is her biggest cheerleader. He makes sure to give her a 'high five' every time she takes the next step to being a big girl.
